A Brief history of Dyson Vacuums
Dyson founder, James Dyson, did not get his start in vacuum cleaners. As the story goes, Mr. Dyson used his engineering skills when building a system so separate paint particles out of the air in one of his warehouses. After being frustrated with the performance of his vacuum cleaner, Mr. Dyson decided to see if the same principal could be applied to vacuum cleaners. Using his cyclone tower technology and centrifugal force, the first ever bagless vacuum cleaner was invented. It took over 5 years and 5,000 prototypes, but finally a vacuum cleaner could separate air from dust / dirt without the use of a vacuum bags. This allowed for the vacuum to maintain full suction throughout the entire cleaning process.
